PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate Release
CALGARY, October 3rd, 2019 / – Trace Water Solutions Ltd. (“Trace Water”) is pleased to announce commissioning of its Kaybob fixed water hub in the Fox Creek area. This new water treatment facility is able to process 3000 m3/day of flowback or produced water, including H2S impacted water, for recycling and re-use in slick water fracs. Trace Water, in offering an economical and reliable treatment solution instead of mere disposal at its Kaybob facility, provides its customers the new choice of effective and efficient treatment and recycling to both reduce water management costs and increase environmental performance.
Trace is now accepting orders and capacity reservations for processing at the newly opened Kaybob/Fox Creek area facility. In processing the first deliveries at the new facility this week, Trace received positive comments on the efficient unloading and loading arrangements that speed turnaround times. As well, customers will benefit from implementation of an enhanced electronic ticketing solution providing valuable insight, controls and approvals surrounding inbound and outbound water shipments from our facilities and field operations.
The opening of Trace Water’s new Kaybob fixed water treatment hub adds to an existing fleet of mobile in-field facilities and expands Trace Water’s environmental and economically superior water solution and infrastructure for customers. Through Trace Water’s n-SOX non-chemical treatment, 100% of frac water flowback can be re-used, dramatically lowering water costs and impacts by reducing disposal and fluid transportation costs while providing reliable frac water sources.
