CALGARY, August 9, 2019 / – Trace Water Solutions Ltd. (“Trace Water”) is pleased to announce construction of its AER permitted Kaybob fixed water hub in the Fox Creek area. This facility provides a new high-volume receipt and storage hub, offering water treatment and recycling for the re-use of produced and flowback water for slick water fracs. Trace Water is now taking orders for processing at this facility for up to 3000 m 3 /day of water treatment processing, including sour water, for re-use or storage. Trace Water expects the facility to be in service September 2019.

Construction and commissioning of Trace Water’s new Kaybob fixed water treatment hub adds to an existing fleet of mobile in-field facilities and expands its environmental and economically superior water solution and infrastructure for customers.

Trace Water is particularly excited that after an extensive permitting process, it can further deploy it’s madein Alberta proprietary water recycling technology to improve environmental and economic performance. Through Trace Water’s n-SOX non-chemical treatment, 100% of frac water flowback can be re-used, dramatically lowering water costs and impacts by reducing disposal and fluid transportation costs while providing reliable frac water sources.
